STICKY & SWEET TOUR II: TWO CLASSICS ARE BACK!.

Rehearsals to the extension of the Madonna’s tour are planned to take place in New York and starting at the beginning of June. They will approximately go on for a month before flying to London for the premiere on July 4th.

As for the changes in the Sticky & Sweet set list a couple of beloved old classics will be replacing two songs of the 2008 line-up. The songs considered at the moment are the 1983 First Album classic hit Holiday, making its comeback in a Madonna’s tour after five years, and Dress You Up, the old fan favourite from Like a Virgin (1984).

The inclusion of such classic songs will surely convince the people who were unsure about this tour extension that Madonna is once again trying something new, by strengthening her already successful show of 2008, reinventing it by adding more fan favourite oldies but goodies.

MADONNA ATTENDED LADY GAGA'S CONCERT.

Madonna was spotted at the Lady Gaga’s concert yesterday night in New York City. The Queen of Pop was seen at the show together with her daughter Lourdes and friend Steven Klein.

Madonna's manager, Guy Oseary, also had words of appreciation for the good show - of course, from his Twitter page. He wrote: “it was refreshing to see an artist put on a good show.. she’s very talented”.

DON'T ADOPT MY GIRL.

The father of the African girl Madonna hopes to adopt says he wants to take care of his daughter himself - even though he's never met her.

James Kambewa, believed to be the biological father of Chifundo "Mercy" James, said he doesn't want the pop star to adopt the 4-year-old girl.

"I want to take care of her, and I'm capable to take care of my baby", he told CBS' "The Early Show" in an interview to be aired Monday. "Mercy, she is a Malawian - so (I) need her to grow as a Malawian as well with our culture."

Kambewa wears a necklace bearing his daughter's name but has never met her and says he has only seen her "in newspapers and TV - not face to face".

Madonna spokeswoman, Liz Rosenberg, said in an e-mail message Saturday she doesn't know if Kambewa is the father of the girl, who lives in an orphanage.
"All I know is that Mercy has been in an orphanage since the day she was born", Rosenberg said.

MORE ON THE NEW SONGS FOR THE GREATEST HITS COLLECTION.

Paul Oakenfold was in the studio this week, producing new songs with Madonna for her upcoming Greatest Hits. Paul took some time to answer a few questions regarding the new material, and we’re happy to share his answers to the first two questions today.

Q.: How did you come to work with Madonna on the new songs?
A.. I was approached by Guy Oseary to see if I was interested in working with Madonna in the studio.

Q.: Could you tell us more about the sound you have developed for them?
A.: I was looking for a cutting-edge sound with an old-school classic feel. I think we have achieved that and I think people are going to be really happy with this bunch of songs.

On the side note, the second producer of the new songs for Madonna’s hits collection seems to be DJ Frank E., a young DJ and Hip Hop/Rap/R&B producer. Madonna hit the studio with him on Thursday. He described the first day of recording on his Twitter site: “Great day today in the studio, doin it all over again tomorrow. This is my life”.
